Girl Into Me but Doesn't

In December I went on a few dates with this girl and we started talking. Then 2 weeks ago we went back to school. I thought that due to the long distance we would stop talking. But we continued. Last weekend I drove an hour and a half to spend the day with her. The day went really well. We teased, laughed, held hands, and made out before saying goodbye. The day after, we were texting and it was very clear she was into me.

Then I tried to move the conversation towards how I felt about her. And she starts laughing me off and not taking me seriously! I mean, I thought I was making it clear that I wanted to talk seriously. So I don't think she mistook me.

Why does she not want to talk about us?? It's not like we are friends. Friends don't hold hands and make out. So what's the deal? Btw we are still talking like normal and the dynamic hasn't really changed between us. Although I'm beginning to think we are just friends now any way to turn this around? I really want a relationship with her.

You've only been dating for a month and now it's long distance. Don't push it too fast. She'd have to be pretty dense not to know that you like her. Having the "relationship" talk may be interpreted as wanting to be "exclusive." And given the situation, she probably doesn't want to do that. She's at school having fun and doesn't want to feel like she's cheating if she goes to parties and does a little making out.

Just keep talking and visiting. If you want to test her investment in you, invite her to your place and see if she will travel to be with you.
