Just to let you know this was high school Junior year, and I just had a first semester class with her, and it was already over. For my first problem. Last year I asked this girl to prom that I really like, even though I have never talked to her except for the one time she asked me to barrow a pencil in the hall right before that class. Anyway she smiled when I walked up and started talking, but told me that she was sorry, and already going with someone. That someone was her cousin. I was kinda in disbelief. I at least know she told people about me asking because one of my friends asked me about what happened later that day. Since then when she sees me in the hall she would just look at the ground when walking by. I also assume that by asking her that basically told her that I liked her.

Anyways now it's senior year and summer has passed, and she is still doing it. We also have a class together now, and three of her friends are in it. She sits in the front row several people over from me. When class is over she walks to the back of the room, and just kinda slowly walks. I guess so I can leave first. Its like she's trying not to get near me. The one thing that was interesting today was that I was leaning over talking to a friend next to me, and I glanced up and I believe she was looking at me, and our eyes met for literally 2 seconds then we both just looked away. Found that interesting. I just really don't know what she is thinking. Is she just avoiding me because she is nervous around me now or just trying to prove she doesn't like me? I just don't know what I should do?

I haven't really talked to many girls in my four years of high school, and I just wonder how weird It is to start talking to them when I haven't really said much or anything to them before. Especially with her. Although I guess it wouldn't be to weird If I talk to the ones I have classes with. Not flirting with them, but just to help me with talking to girls, which I am not the best at.

Second thing that annoys me is. A lot of times her and her friends will be talking to one of my friends. It just seems like they talk about meaningless crap though from what little I have heard. From what little I have actually heard, he is just usually making fun of what they say in a sorta dumb serious, but sarcastic voice, and they laugh at it for some reason? (Also when I say friend I mean just someone I talk to regularly, but would probably never hang out with after school.)
