I have been pursuing someone for about 3 months. She hasn't wanted to begin an exclusive relationship with me until just now. I have a lot of feelings for her, but I am still at bay waiting for her to end her other courtships. We spend a good deal of time together and text and talk often, we grow closer and talk more openly every time were together which is once a week sometimes more.

All of a sudden a friend of mine has presented herself as a dating interest. She is a beautiful and amazing person and I would be lucky to have someone like her as a girlfriend. However, I already have feelings for the first girl. I'm sure a relationship is on the horizon with girl 1 if I keep at it, but I'm not sure I should trust her. I also feel like I could potentially be making a big mistake if I pass on girl 2.

I should also mention I am a very busy graduate student with a job yet I make time for the girl I date. The second girl is in my grad program and a relationship with her could cause ripples down the line. However she is much more mature than the girl I'm currently seeing.

Please chime in with a little insight as you see it from the outside cuz my perspective is very cloudy. Thank you.
