I'm middle aged and have never had a girlfriend. I recently met a woman. We have some common interests, but our chemistry is just fair. I'm shy and reserved. Things are somewhat stiff and reserved between us.Recently she started kissing me. I've never been kissed before. I think she is cute but I didn't really feel much. I thought I would be excited to kissed by almost any woman, but I wasn't. I guess it is because of our lack of strong chemistry, and that neither of us is very outgoing. I think I might feel more romantic toward her if she was, for example, bubbly and cutesy and giggly; and less serious.
Do you think I can develop more romantic feelings toward her? I want this to work. Few women have shown much interest in me.

Can chemistry develop?
